PUBLIC BETA · TERMS OF USE

Use TYNOA like a place people can trust.

These Terms apply to TYNOA accounts, Rooms, stories, member chat, Creator Rooms and paid access during the public beta.

1. Your account

Keep your login details private and provide a valid email you control. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Do not impersonate another person or use TYNOA to deceive others.

2. Community conduct

Do not use TYNOA for scams, spam, threats, targeted harassment, hateful abuse, sexual exploitation, illegal activity, malware, doxxing or content that violates another person’s rights. We may remove content or restrict accounts when needed to protect members or the service.

3. Stories and folklore

Original horror on TYNOA is fiction unless clearly stated otherwise. Folklore and urban-legend material is presented as cultural storytelling and may have different versions. TYNOA does not present supernatural claims as verified fact.

4. Paid access

Where a Room is marked one-time access, the displayed price is charged once and is not a recurring subscription. A successful purchase grants conditional access tied to the TYNOA account used at checkout. It does not transfer ownership of the Room and is not marketed as guaranteed lifetime operation. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, successful digital-access purchases are final and TYNOA does not offer voluntary change-of-mind refunds.

5. Creator Room limits

During the current Creator Beta, one Creator account may own a maximum of two Creator Rooms in total: no more than one Free Room and no more than one Paid Room. TYNOA may adjust capacity, eligibility or rollout limits for future cohorts as the service scales.

6. Paid Creator eligibility and responsibilities

Paid Creator Rooms are currently a Singapore-only pilot and require completed Stripe connected-account onboarding before accepting member payments. Creators are responsible for the content, promises, Room description and community activity they publish, and must have the rights needed to publish that content. A Creator must not misrepresent what a member receives after payment.

7. Creator fees and payout split

For the current Paid Creator Beta, each successful member entry payment uses the standard split of Creator 70% / TYNOA 30%. The current Paid Room Activation fee is S$9.90 one-time after Creator payout setup is ready. TYNOA may change pricing or payout terms for future transactions or future Creator cohorts, but changes do not retroactively rewrite completed transactions.

8. Payment issues, disputes and Creator proceeds

TYNOA does not operate a general change-of-mind refund queue. Duplicate charges, paid-but-not-unlocked access, technical billing errors and other genuine payment issues may be investigated through Support. Unauthorized payments, bank disputes and chargebacks may also be handled by card issuers or payment providers independently. If a Paid Creator Room transaction is reversed, disputed, charged back or identified as fraudulent, related Creator proceeds may be delayed, restricted, reversed or otherwise handled under the connected payment-account configuration, payment-provider rules and applicable law.

9. Paid member access and moderation

Paying for a Room does not exempt a member from TYNOA Terms, Community Rules or legitimate Room rules. TYNOA or a Creator may warn, mute, temporarily suspend or remove a member for fraud, abuse, harassment, illegal activity, payment manipulation, security threats or other material rule violations. A restriction imposed for a legitimate material violation does not by itself create a voluntary refund right.

10. Creators cannot casually remove compliant paid members

A Creator must not remove a compliant paid member merely because the member is inactive, because the Creator wants to free capacity, or because a new paying member could take the place. Paid-member removal should be tied to a legitimate moderation, fraud, safety, legal or material-rule reason. TYNOA may review disputed removals and may override or restrict Creator moderation when necessary to protect the service or members.

11. Paid Room capacity

TYNOA may apply soft capacity limits to Paid Rooms for performance, moderation or beta control and may expand those limits when a Room is healthy and the service can support more members. Existing compliant paid members should not be displaced solely to admit new paying members.

12. Paid Room closure, archive and deletion

Before a Paid Room has any successful member-access sale, a Creator may be allowed to delete the Room. After the first successful paid-member purchase, the Creator should not erase the Room simply to disappear with member payments. TYNOA may instead provide close-to-new-members, suspended or archive/read-only states. Existing entitled members may retain reasonable access to previously available material where practical, subject to safety, legal, privacy, security and technical requirements. TYNOA may still remove or disable content or an entire Room where necessary for those requirements.

13. Paid Room privacy and platform review

A Paid Room is access-restricted to entitled members, but it is not an end-to-end encrypted space that is inaccessible to TYNOA. Authorized TYNOA administrators may review Room content, messages and submitted media when reasonably necessary for moderation, user reports, payment disputes, fraud prevention, legal compliance, security incidents or technical support. Administrative access should be limited to legitimate operational purposes and may be logged for accountability.

14. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give TYNOA the limited permission needed to host, store, display, process, deliver and moderate that content for operating the service. This includes user-submitted images or other media where those features are available. You must have the right to post what you submit.

15. Service protection

Do not probe, scrape, overload, bypass access controls, manipulate payment state or attempt unauthorized access to another member’s data. Do not abuse media uploads, automated traffic or storage to impose unreasonable cost or load on TYNOA. Security research must not involve accessing real user data or disrupting the service.

16. Account removal and retained records

You may request account and associated personal-data deletion through Support. Some payment, payout, fraud-prevention, dispute, moderation, security or legal records may need to be retained where required or reasonably necessary.

17. Public beta and changes

TYNOA is in public beta. Features may change, be paused or be removed as we improve safety, reliability and the product. We may update these Terms as TYNOA develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after an update means the new Terms apply from that point forward, subject to applicable law.
